Below, you can find my resume in both Portuguese and English, both signed and verified.

As you might have noticed, my name is Caio Bernardo, and some friends call me Orimoto. I'm Brazilian, studying Information Systems at the University of São Paulo. I started programming as a hobby during the COVID pandemic, but it grew into a passion.

Now, I'm more interested in the academic research field. I've conducted research in the evaluation and monitoring of conversational agents. I enjoy software development, infrastructure and application design — my favorite language is Rust btw. In 2025, I started to dive into Game Development with some friends. Today (2026), we've a academic league with over 50 members, developing game and learning materials for our community.

This website was created for many reasons:

  1. I always wanted to have a website.
  2. I wanted to centralize all information about me and my portfolio.
  3. I love writing and thought a blog would motivate me to write more often.
  4. I saw lot of content about the IndieWeb and decided to participate.

Therefore, I made this website — taking inspiration from many sources (more details in here) — where we have a humble blog for posts, an enumeration of my projects and a page with links for my main social medias.

That said, I promise to try my best to keep this site on the running and updated.
